Follow Along: on The Purse Building Transformation

Unveiling Phase 1
The original bones of the Purse Building are now in full view—and they’re spectacular. From hand-laid brick to century-old beams, this historic structure is ready for its next chapter.

Tanya Ragan and her company, Wildcat Management, led a deliberate and highly strategic redevelopment effort that carefully peeled back layers of neglect to uncover:

  • Original pine floors

  • Hand-hewn timber beams

  • Historic masonry and brickwork

  • Views from every floor of Dealey Plaza, including the exact "X" where JFK’s motorcade passed

The work was executed under strict historic preservation guidelines and structured to maintain eligibility for state and federal tax credits. She didn’t cut corners. She built a future while honoring the past.

Today, the Purse Building is a raw, prepped, and stunning blank canvas—ready for a visionary investor or developer to bring it to full life as a boutique hotel, multifamily conversion, creative office hub, or residential showpiece.
